I’ve been craving beef neck bones, a soul food in the USA. I’ve only had them once since I’ve been in Madrid, which was many years ago. My students baked some for me as a surprise so that I wouldn’t get too homesick and go back to the states. It really was a nice gesture. I didn’t realize how genuine it was until now, when I’ve been craving them and had to fight tooth and nail.

 

And it’s not a cuisine in Madrid or in Spain as far as I know. I’m not for sure about that but I had to fight tooth and nail to get them and nobody had them and finally I found a nice butcher in my neighborhood where I had to order them and the next day I had them. I wasn’t expecting them to be so cheap as good as they are. Lol.
